On behalf of GreenEfW Investments Ltd, BLS have secured full planning permission for an energy from waste plant using advanced thermal treatment technology on the Cornwall Bio Park development at Scorrier, Redruth. Planning consent was granted by Cornwall Council's Strategic Planning Committee with a unanimous vote.

BLS acted as planning consultants and undertook the submission of the planning application and environmental statement.

The project represents a £22m private sector investment in strategic waste management facilities in Cornwall and will handle commercial and industrial wastes.
