BLS, acting as town planning consultants, has successfully obtained planning permission for the retention of a building, formerly a holiday unit, as a permanent residential dwelling on a prominent seafront site at Polkirt Hill, Mevagissey. Despite the proposal being fully planning policy compliant, there were objections to the proposal from the local Parish Council and local objector who had not provided any policy justification to support their objection. The proposal was fully supported by Planning Officers as being policy compliant in their recommendation for approval to the Cornwall Council Central Planning Committee.
