On behalf of Wheal Harmony Ltd, BLS Ltd has secured some £1.2M of grant funding for a major regeneration project at Wheal Harmony, Treleigh, Redruth.  The project involves the restoration of some 4.4 ha of land and will be developed for employment purposes.  The land has been affected by past metaliferous mining activity and the Convergence grant funding will match private funding to restore the land for industrial use together with the provision of estate roads and services.  The project will provide new fully serviced industrial land strategically located at the gateway to Redruth immediately adjacent to the Treleigh Industrial Estate.
